Carson Palmer, because I find him to be yet another USC debutante who didn't live up to the hype. Also because I am a Spartan, and I want to see Drew Stanton breakout this year.

Until last year, Alex Smith. He had his ups and downs, and I still don't believe he can throw a good deep pass. I like his resilience though, and I do wish him well with the Chiefs.

This is true, and he never had a true #1 option until Vernon Davis. But even two years before Harbaugh, they still had a top ten defense, a good offensive line, and a great running game. There's no reason for the inconsistent performances then, offensive coordinator problems or not.
